Kežmarok (High Tatras Surroundings)
Kežmarok is one of the Spiš region centers with rich history and many monuments. It is a district town with about 17,000 inhabitants.
Every year, the European People's Craft (EĽRO) event is held every second July weekend. Every year craftsmen arrive here not only from Slovakia but also from all over Europe to show their art on the spot. The festival complements a rich cultural program consisting of performances by folklore ensembles, falconers or street theater.
For visitors and home guests, concerts of both serious and modern music are held in the wooden articular church. It is the 7th of July 2008, which is listed in the UNESCO List of World Cultural and Natural Heritage Sites.
